Session 4

Pratyahara - withdrawal of attention

As the senses follow the mind inward, we make a shift. There is a refinement that occurs naturally as Spirit awakens the subtle sense perceptions -"cleansing the doors of your perception". This is a natural progression as the mind settles down, we shift from our limited sense of self to a more expanded, peaceful Self. The sutras awaken compassion within as we reconnect at Anahata, the heart chakra.

“It is only when the correct practice is followed for a long time, without interruptions and with a quality of positive attitude and eagerness, that it can succeed.”

― Patañjali, Yoga-Sutras
